Eco & Green Festivals
Bestival, Isle of Wight
Bestival, Isle of Wight is a beautiful and spiritual, environmentally friendly event that takes place in September each year. You can hire a campervan or bring your own. There are podpads and belleopads which are lovingly built cosy little huts with wooden flooring. There is also disability access and lock ups. There is also live music, an inflatable church, heavenly healing such pampering to sound healing which is built around a stunning angel temple.
Glastonbury Festival has always been the first to host “alternative” solutions to environmental concerns, and over time those “alternatives” have become mainstream. Glastonbury Festival gives people the chance to “open their eyes” and see something better, even if it is only for one weekend in the year.
Mind, Body and Spirit Festival
First established in 1977. It is now a spiritual icon with over 33 years experience of event innovation and inspiration. Thousands of visitors from the UK, and abroad, attend yearly celebrations in London and Manchester, attracted by an eclectic mix of musicians, international workshop leaders, best-selling authors, artists and cutting edge exhibitors.
Tangerine Fields is every festival-goer’s dream. Turn up and find the perfect camping spot already picked out for you. Your tent is already up. Your friends are all camped next to you. When it comes to looking after the planet, Tangerine Fields like to think they do their bit. Reusing is at the heart of what they do, this beats recycling any day.
The Big Green Gathering
The Big Green Gathering is for people who care about health, the environment, sustainability, for children's future and life in general. It is a celebration of our natural world and our place within it. It is a place for enjoyment, learning and fun. Unhealthy activities are not encouraged in this gathering, except excess of love, peace, joy, and friendship.
