What We Need From You
New Writers
If you are new to SE, please provide a brief (~200 character) description of yourself with an accompanying image. Feel free to include a link to your personal site or works
Submitting Articles
There are a couple of things to keep in mind when submitting an article for publication either in short or long format
Short constitutes poetry and articles consisting of fewer than 750 words
Long constitutes articles consisting of fewer than 1500 words
I consider pieces of work of greater than 1500 words to be generally too long for blog posts, but they can be submitted for publication elsewhere on the Spiritual England site
Images
At least one image must accompany the piece, preferably several, but one is a necessity for the cover
Links
Please include hyperlinks in the text, whether these are to sources of information, pages on the Spiritual England website, or to your personal websites
Description
A brief (~200 character) description of the piece for social media and marketing purposes
Formatting
Please make your work visually pleasing and easy to read, we’re after nicely digestible chunks of text rather than unscalable walls
Editing
I may update the formatting to reflect SEO best practice, along with adding or removing links among other things. If I believe there’s quite a few changes to be made, then instead of making large edits, I’ll contact you to outline what will need changing prior to publication
Publication
This organisation was entrusted to my care and I intend to honour the vision and values of the founder, alongside my own vision for Spiritual England. As such, not every submitted piece will be published, but I’m more than happy to work with contributors in the event it’s not quite what we’re looking for!

Feel free to contribute to the spiritual forums, post questions and answers, publish short pieces or drafts
